Steamed Broccoli with Collard Greens and Red Pepper

Ingredients

  • Broccoli — 1 head (broken into florets)
  • stemmed collard greens — 1 cup (packed)
  • ground red pepper — 0.25 tsp (also add red pepper if desired)

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a steamer or saucepan with a steamer insert. Add the broccoli and collard greens, cover, and steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Move the vegetables to a serving bowl. Season with red pepper, lemon juice, and salt. Serve right away.
