Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

4 servings
  • extra large shrimp — 1 lb (deveined with head preferably)
  • garlic — 0.25 cup (diced)
  • all-purpose flour — 1 tbsp
  • paprika — 1.5 tsp
  • cayenne pepper — 0.13 tsp
  • Salt — 2 dash (can be adjusted to taste)
  • unsalted butter — 6 tbsp (diced into 1 tbsp pieces)
  • olive oil — 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice — 1 tbsp
  • parsley — 1 tbsp (minced)

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and place in a bowl after deveining it.
  2. Season with flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper, then toss to coat.
  3. Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic briefly.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook about 2 minutes per side, until just done.
  5. Remove from heat, toss with lemon juice, garnish with parsley, and serve with the garlic butter sauce.
